Cybersafety & Cyberbullying Education Programs and Workshops for Primary and Secondary Schools

Due to the increased use of technology (computers, mobile devices and the Internet) by students and teachers, Cybersafety and Cyberbullying, INNATE Education's programs and workshops provide schools with a valuable resource.

INNATE Education provides 'Cybersafety' Professional Development and 'Internet Safety Awareness' presentations for teachers, students and parents. In acknowledging themselves to be digital citizens from the beginning of their use of technology, young students should come to recognise the importance of protecting their private information online, the value of taking responsibility for themselves and their actions, and the necessity of treating others with an appropriate standard of behaviour online.

Cybersafety Programs

Cybersafety' sessions have been developed for staff, students and parents for:

  • Middle Primary
  • Upper Primary
  • Lower Secondary
  • Middle Secondary
  • Upper Secondary

'Cybersafety' programs can be tailored in length from 60-90 minutes, half day, full day or 2 day program.

Cyberbullying Programs

Cyberbullying is the use of technology to bully a person or group. Bullying is repeated behaviour with the intent to harm others

Cyber bullying behaviour may include:

  • Abusive texts and emails
  • Posting unkind or threatening messages, videos or images on social media websites
  • Imitating or excluding others online
  • Inappropriate image tagging
